Sharon hails from Dublin, Ireland. On completing her apprenticeship as a Heraldic artist with the Historical Research Centre in 1989, she transferred to the company's headquarters in Deerfield Beach, Florida. Sharon’s artwork is displayed at the Historical Research Centre franchises throughout the world. In the United States her work can be seen at theme parks, such as Disney and Busch Gardens and tourist destinations from Key West to Washington State, including Atlantic City and Vegas. Over the years, Sharon’s work has been presented to such notable families as the Reagans, Clintons, Kennedys, and the Anheuser-Busch family. In the world of sports, Sharon’s work has been presented to 1987 Americas Cup winner Dennis Conner of the "Stars and Stripes" and the English Premier League soccer teams. Sharon also has completed custom artwork for Windsor Theater Guild in London, The Innisfree Theatre Group Boca Raton FL, Gaelic Athletic Assoc. of Florida and Needham Heights Mothers Group in Massachusetts. Sharon displays her great versatility with the array of products on which her artwork is displayed; canvas, wall murals, shop windows, mailboxes, door knockers, hurling sticks and tee shirts. She considers herself a practical artisan, open to all forms of artwork requests. Residing in Mount Dora with her husband Liam and her sons Oisin and Ruarai, her work can be viewed at The Irish Corner Gift Shop on Alexander St. in downtown Mount Dora, Florida. |
